AI Pioneers meets in Verona for the third transnational project meeting
The third project meeting of the Erasmus+ project AI Pioneers took place from 12 to 13 June in Verona at the University of Verona. Prior to this, a study visit to a vocational training institution from CNOS-FAP (project partner; Federation of the National Centre for Salesian Works in Italy) was foreseen to discuss the use of artificial intelligence (10 to 11 June). Many thanks to Luca Chiavegato for the insights into the current practice of AI use on site in Verona.
The main discussions at the project meeting in Verona focused on the AI Pioneers final conference, which will take place on 22 and 23 September in Bremen, Germany: During the conference there will be interesting keynote speeches, a variety of presentations on the integration of AI in vocational and adult education, as well as exciting workshops, panel discussions and networking sessions. In addition, further steps to strengthen the AI Pioneers network and the associated communities of practice were discussed. Future project results and debates in the last 6 months of the project will continue to focus on the ethical use of AI, as well as on the future design of the AI Pioneers network and associated events and the sustainability of the established network structures beyond the end of the project.
Finally, we would like to thank Thuy Reynolds for her presentation and insights on AI integration and student engagement in VET in Australia.
