New EU Digital Education Guidelines

George Bekiaridis and Graham Attwell from AI Pioneers were members of the European Working Group which developed the new digital education guidelines described in the press release below.
“The digital world is evolving faster than most of us can keep up. AI tools emerge overnight, viral content shapes what we believe, and the systems behind our screens often remain invisible. To help educators, learners, and organisations navigate this complexity, four new digital education guidelines are now available.
Designed by the European Commission together with expert groups, they provide practical support for:
🔹 Using AI responsibly and ethically
🔹 Questioning online content and tackling disinformation
🔹 Selecting or creating digital education content that truly supports learning
🔹 Teaching high-quality informatics
These guidelines are developed to make today’s digital world more transparent, more trustworthy, and more empowering for everyone.
