AI Pioneers Workshops at the AI conference of the NABIBB and the Bavarian Adult Education Association e.V.
The Institute Technology and Education (ITB) from the University of Bremen had the pleasure of implementing two workshops today held by Lisa Meyne, Dr. Ludger Deitmer and Frieda Klaus in the context of the AI Pioneers project. The workshops were presented at the AI conference from the National Agency at the Federal Institute for Vocational Education and Training (NABIBB) and the Bavarian Adult Education Association e.V. focusing on “Understanding and shaping AI: European perspectives and concrete areas of application for adult education”.
The workshops addressed application examples of artificial intelligence in vocational education and training and adult education focusing on practical examples of use cases connected to specific AI tools. As a result of the workshops, it can be emphasized that AI tools are essentially used as support tools at the moment on the side of the workshop participants – be it for word processing, creating learning materials, brainstorming or creating and designing presentations/lectures, etc.
The selection of the “right” AI tools and the safeguarding of data protection are still open questions.
Overall, the importance of networking between institutions, organizations, experts and interested parties was highlighted. The documentation of the event will be available soon in German.
Many thanks to the conference organizers and the 45 people who took part in our two workshops and actively participated in the discussions.
