AI Pioneers Expanding Cooperation for AI in Education
The AI Pioneers Network is actively building strategic partnerships within the European education community. We’re focused on driving meaningful conversations and practical applications of Artificial Intelligence in vocational and adult education. This growing interest from European institutions underscores the network’s valuable contributions to this research and practice field.
AI Pioneers aims to lead in AI research and practice; to that end, three researchers contributed to the European Digital Education Hub Squad on Explainable AI and presented key findings at the Council of Europe, fostering both knowledge dissemination and our network’s expertise. Further expanding our network and engagement with key stakeholders, we recently had the privilege of hosting an insightful webinar with the European Commission’s Joint Research Centre (JRC) representatives. This discussion delved into the future research perspectives surrounding AI in education, laying the groundwork for potential future collaborations.
Building on this momentum, we’ve now initiated promising discussions with the European Training Foundation (ETF). We are exploring avenues for collaboration that will further empower educators and practitioners across Europe to navigate the evolving landscape of AI-driven learning.
We are fostering a resilient ecosystem for AI integration by connecting established networks and communities. This collaboration ensures the sustainability of European project outputs by providing educators with ongoing access to resources and platforms for best practice sharing. Joint events and presentations will be very important to this initiative.
As we forge deeper collaborations with European institutions, we are particularly interested in exploring how we can translate our collective network expertise into tangible solutions for vocational and adult education. Specifically, we seek to understand the most effective strategies for developing practical, scalable AI-driven tools that meet the diverse needs of practitioners across Europe. Furthermore, we are eager to investigate the optimal approaches for creating accessible and engaging professional development resources, empowering educators to confidently integrate AI into their teaching practices.
We look forward to continuing this important work together.
