AI Open Educational Resources

We need more of this. Blair Attard-Frost has shared all the lecture slides, syllabi, and reading lists from two AI policy courses she has been teaching at the University of Toronto. The first course on the “Ethics & Governance of Artificial Intelligence” surveys a broad range theoretical, practical, and critical perspectives on AI ethics & AI governance
The second course is a 6-week crash course entitled “Artificial Intelligence Policy” intended to rapidly cultivate knowledge of AI-related issues and policy development skills for an interdisciplinary group of graduate students studying data science, UX design, information management & policy, and libraries & archives.
The course materials can be found in this folder: https://lnkd.in/ewQxATfG
They are available for educational, personal, or nonprofit use under a Creative Commons BY-SA-NC license. Feel free to use, adapt, or build upon them for your own teaching or learning.
And according to her LinkedIn profile, Blair thinks about AI governance through a trans feminist lens. Her research addresses challenges of power, participation, and justice in AI governance systems. She draws on 10+ years of experience working across government, industry, and academia to teach students, professionals, executives, public servants, and communities about AI policy & ethics.
