Help Shape Our Guidelines for Ethical AI in Education!
This November, we’re inviting feedback on our Evaluation Schema for AI in Education on Data, Privacy, Ethics, and EU Values. Designed as a set of guidelines, this schema aims to help educational institutions think critically about AI tools they may adopt, with an emphasis on data protection, ethical practices, and alignment with core European values. While not exhaustive or legally prescriptive, it provides foundational considerations to guide educators and administrators in assessing AI’s impact on learning environments.
Why Your Input Matters
As AI becomes more integrated into education, evaluating these tools through a broad, ethical lens is crucial. This schema provides a starting point for reflection on key considerations—but we need your insights to ensure it’s relevant, practical, and accessible.
How to Participate
To make it easy to explore the schema and provide feedback, we’ve prepared several resources:
- Click here to Read and Comment on the Document
The full schema is available in a Word document format, where you can leave comments directly. These notes will help us understand which sections need clarification or added detail. - Click here to Explore the Genially Presentation
For a more navigable and visual overview, check out our Genially presentation. It’s designed to allow quick access to different sections and key points within the schema. - Click here to Share Your Feedback Through Our Google Form
Our Google Form is structured to capture specific feedback on the schema’s clarity, usefulness, and areas for improvement. While comments on the Word document are also appreciated, the form responses will give us an overarching view of user impressions.
Let’s Work Together
Feedback is open throughout November, and we welcome input from educators, policymakers, administrators, and anyone interested in the role of AI in education. By participating, you’re contributing to a tool that can promote the responsible and thoughtful use of AI across European educational settings.
Thank you for helping shape a meaningful, practical resource for the future of AI in education!
