This poster summarises the results of a recent study by the National Foundation for Educational Research (NFER) in the UK. The study investigated how secondary school science teachers could use ChatGPT to support lesson planning and preparation. The research explored whether integrating ChatGPT could reduce planning time.

As part of the study, they developed recommendations for schools; offering guidance on how generative AI tools like ChatGPT can be effectively used to reduce teacher workload and improve the lesson planning process.
